The Manjimup TAFE will be running a Beginner’s Computing short course this semester.
This course will run on a Thursday only for 8 weeks, commencing on 13th October to 1st December 2016. (Please note that course dates may be subject to change pending numbers)
Classes will run from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
This short course will help you brush up on your computer skills which are essential in this day and age.
You will learn how to start your PC, log in, use and understand desktop icons and their links to underlying programs, navigate a folder structures, save work, printing and closing down the PC correctly, operate word processing programs and perform basic and medium operations including the creation and formatting of documents and letters. You will also find out about the keys on your computer keyboard and what they do, how to use the computer mouse, save photos and find them again, organise your computer, use Word for basic tasks, how to find HELP when you are stuck and find lost documents and much more.
