Centrelink online accounts and Assisted Customer Claims are still unavailable. This continues to be under urgent investigation but will not be rectified until after the Easter long Weekend.

The Manjimup CRC Board of Management, are committed to supporting our trainees to "Challenge their fears" by joining the CRC Network Leeuwin Youth Voyage as a crew member since 2015 when Clancy Utech & Megan Jones sailed.

Their voyage is due to set sail on the 21st April from Fremantle, arriving in Monkey Mia 28th April

Both Kayla our CERT IV Community Development trainee and Sophie Wilkinson-Knight CERT III Business Administration are required to fundraise $600 each towards the $3,137.00 voyage costs, to show their commitment.

Tower plan targets country mobile black spots

  • Regional Telecommunications Project improving mobile phone coverage
  • 128 new or upgraded base stations scheduled for Western Australia 
The Commonwealth and Western Australian Governments have today released the build plan for 128 new or upgraded mobile base stations to be constructed by Telstra.  The build comes under Round 1 of the $385 million Mobile Black Spot Programme, as part of an $85 million investment through the State Government's Royalties for Regions program.

MEDIA RELEASE – Water for Food project helping to grow the region's agriculture
March 2016
Local producers are being given a unique opportunity to be a part of the 'Southern Forests Irrigation Scheme', which if implemented, will consist of an irrigation network that will transport water, via a series of pipes and pump stations, throughout the region.  The Scheme is one of 11 projects being rolled out across regional WA under the State Government's $40 million 'Water for Food' program, made possible by Royalties for Regions.

Grants to celebrate WA’s young people

  • $71,177 National Youth Week grants shared between 73 groups
  • National Youth Week runs from April 8-17, 2016 
Seventy-three community organisations from the Kimberley to Esperance will share more than $71,000 in State Government grants to deliver National Youth Week events next month. 
​Youth Minister Tony Simpson said the grants would fund activities and events that placed young people at the centre of their planning and implementation.
"National Youth Week is an exciting time to be a young person in Western Australia," Mr Simpson said.
