Welcome to the Manjimup CRC
"Your Local Community Connection"
"The clear, crisp air in Manjimup and rich landscape of the Southern Forests region produce and nurture the magnificent forests of Karri, Marri and Tingle trees so closely associated with this picture-postcard area. Its exquisite landscapes are a blend of gently contoured, vine-clad hillsides, fertile orchards, majestic and ancient forests"
Our centre was established in 2002 as the "Volunteer Resource Centre" and had been operating for twelve years when we joined the Western Australian Community Resource Centre Network. This transition has enabled us to begin again in a purpose built community facility which is located in the heart of the CBD in close proximity to our Local Shire office.
Manjimup Community Resource Centre is your local connection to technology, internet access, community information, support services, we also provide free access and printing of government department information. Our staff deliver excellent agency services for Centrelink, and Department of Transport customers, and can provide referral advice for local Veterans as an agent for the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
Our modern and well equipped facilities provide a comfortable and professional environment for permanent or daily office hire, our training room, conference room and meeting room are also available for bookings with catering options and event management support if required. We also offer the additional advantage of printing and administration services.
We pride ourselves in making our customers feel welcome and supported by delivering consistent and friendly service at all times and will ensure your enquiry is dealt with efficiently “We can….We will….Because we care!”
Our not-for-profit organisation is governed by a volunteer Board of Management, our full time Manager oversees and plans our operations. The Volunteer Officer works Wed and Thurs, with four full-time customer services staff who provide reception services.
Our primary funding comes from service agreements with the Department of Regional Development, Department of Human Services, Department of Transport, Department of Local Government and Communities. Our remaining income is generated through fees from office hire, administration services and memberships.
