After the very informative visit from the Walpole Seniors Computer Club, there was much anticipation in our groups for them to begin their personal projects. We have been working on these projects for the last 2 weeks, and they are loving it, I have to keep reminding them that they have to go home.
At the moment we are running the sessions with the first hour as a lesson i.e. learning about Facebook, myGov ect. and the second half working on their projects. It is really great to see their excitement and watch them become more comfortable with the program they are working in.
At the moment the attendance numbers are low, however I believe that this is in part due to the fact that so many are on holidays to warmer, dryer areas. However due to this we have temporarily postponed the Tuesday morning session until people are back from their holidays.
