The MSCWA (Multicultural Services Centre of W.A.) has established a Multicultural Legal Centre. The services it offers is outlined in the flyer below. Their work does not duplicate the work of existing community legal centres and is seeking to fill the gaps in "legal services" that the CaLD community is currently experiencing.

Welcome to our fresh start to the year, 2017 is lining up to be an exciting one here at our centre with some fresh faces to greet you in reception and fresh ideas for events throughout the year.
Currently this month we have NBN as a focus to assist our community with the many questions that NBN brings. February 9th and the week of February 13th -17th NBN Telstra will be located at our centre with their team to answer questions and sign you up to an NBN plan if you choose. Seniors Computing will resume their lessons with Fridays now being the new day for all classes. Sylvia will facilitate Fridays “Back to Basics” lessons at 10am – 12pm and repeat the lesson again at 2pm – 4pm. Sessions will be held in the training room. We also have a brand new class called iPad Question Time. Emma (our new trainee) will host from 10am – 11am in the meeting room. Days for Girls has made wonderful progress and they are now officially being suspected by us here at MCRC and have a proud new committee. They will continue to sew in their two groups in Quinninup and Manjimup and come together her eat the centre on March 16th. All welcome! A wonderful fresh start to the year for Days for Girls Manjimup Team. A meeting was held between both groups of ladies from Quinninup and Manjimup recently and new systems and ideas were put into place for the group’s harmony. Our ladies confidently established their first committee, set a meeting plan for the coming year and swapped ideas on resourcing, fundraising and sewing gatherings. Brenda Dawes was a wonderful guide for the ladies and helped clarify and offered support for purchasing fabrics and materials. MCRC are now the proud organisation to officially auspice Manjimup Days for Girls and we are all looking forward to an exciting year of kit production! A very warm welcome is also due for our three new team members: Mary Cook who has taken on the role of secretary, Sue Greg who is our new treasurer and Lynette who is the Quinninup ladies co-coordinator. We look forward to working with you lovely ladies! We are ready to commence the new year of Senior Computing!
