Joblife is an exciting new disability employment service that is permanently located within the Manjimup Community Resource Centre.
A partnership with leading social purpose organisations, Life Without Barriers, and five star rated Jobfind Employment Centres, the focus of Joblife is to help those people who face significant barriers to finding employment.
Our wrap around services mean we are more than an employment provider. We consider each person’s individual circumstances and work towards getting people with a disability into paid employment in an open market.
In particular we work on getting people job ready – building their confidence for interview situations, developing their resume, helping them with job search, providing smart phones so they can stay connected and do online research, and helping them to access training to bridge skills gaps.
Our Manjimup office, located in the Manjimup Community Resource Centre, is highly responsive and sensitive to the needs of our clients. We are local and connected to the community, and bring genuine values of care and support to our operation.
For employers we offer a free two week trial to make sure that job seekers are a good fit for your business. We will manage all aspects of the process including pre-screening of applicants, support to access wage subsidies and help in accessing funding for workplace modification.
One in five Australians have a disability. Opening up employment opportunities that are more inclusive gives employers a great talent pool to choose from.
You can contact Emma Pickering, Joblife Employment Consultant, on 0437 691 498 or visit her at the centre at 45 Rose Street, Manjimup.
