Manjimup Parkrun Update!

17/11/2016

Comments

Manjimup parkrun welcomed 5 first timers with a total of 28 participants.
It was Annabel Sewell's 4th birthday and first official parkrun today (after 10 unofficial runs), so we all enjoyed cake to mark the occasion.  Thanks to Willah.  It was a very excited Annabelle who obtained her finish token from best buddy Taylor Pearce who particularly wanted to volunteer so she could do this. Taylor also handed out all the other tokens as well.
We start our volunteers young at Manjimup!  We had lots of volunteers today, so thanks to Carolyn MacNeall, Daniel and Mark MacNeall, Taylor Pearce, Rick Wheatley and joint RD's Finn Sundahl with Mark Sewell.
The other four first timers were Albert Thomas, Unknown Unknown, Simon MacNeall and Wayne Newton. Can you guess the pseudonyms here?  A clue is that both these first timers to King Jarrah have completed over 100 parkruns!
Only one PB today. Congratulations to Julia Green taking almost 2 minutes off previous best.
Male placings:
Ambrose FOLEY (JM15-17) continued his good form being first over the line in 19:38 - 8th time in 23 appearances.
