In late 2018 you may have completed an initial OSHC expression of interest form (from YMCA) and returned it to East Manjimup PS. Since then EMPS admin has met with YMCA and there is a strong possibility OSHC can start in Manjimup in 2019, based at our school. This may be possible due to the strong demand indicated through the initial EOI.
This second EOI is to determine (as closely as possible) current specific needs for OSHC in Manjimup so that a final decision can be made. Please complete the EOI as accurately as possible. If OSHC does go ahead, information given through the EOI may affect decisions such as staffing and transport. The sooner the EOI is returned the better. Thanking you Michael Smith – PRINCIPAL – East Manjimup PS Emma Tarrant – OSHC MANAGER – YMCA Dear Friends and colleagues.
The day has finally arrived and I now hand over to Ruth Phillips, who will here on in will be "it" at the Manjimup Family Centre. Ruth and I have worked towards this change of guards over the past five years. At the time I had had the opportunity to appreciate Ruth's skills, personality and vision, and I was sure she'd be the right person for the job. The MFC Board agreed after a process of due diligence. So, from today, Ruth Phillips is Manager of the centre🎆 For me, there's a desk to clear and a golden sunset to sail into. But not before acknowledging the team: What has been achieved over those past 41 years was accomplished by a stellar cast of volunteers and staff. They're too numerous to mention here; let's just say we are looking at a substantial portion of the local population. So let's just look at the current gang. For the Board: Dellys Sice, our Chair, Klaus Mueller, Deputy, Franzine Karamfiles, Secretary, Clare Bailey, Treasurer and Board Members Allanah Buegge, Lesley Polley and Zana Domyer. For the staff: Fiona Browne, Playgroup Coordinator, Natalie Wood, Playgroup Assistant, Ruth Phillips, Manager, Sharyn Webber, Finance Officer, and Tina Rhodes, Cleaner.👏 Myself, I will migrate from management to volunteering and continue to facilitate the three film clubs at the centre. Please come along, these are completely free for members and we show 3 movies a month, in German and Italian with subtitles and iconic Australian films. Otherwise, this is goodbye and after 24 1/2 years in the position I'm looking forward to a good break. Be well, healthy and careful, Andre Foulon. 👋 Best regards and fond farewells, André Foulon Coordinator Manjimup Family Centre Study Health Science or Exercise and Sports Science close to home: new mid-year intake We have some great news for anyone hoping to kick-start a rewarding Health Science or Exercise and Sports Science career.
