"Fresh Produce Alliance"
Jennie Franceschi is calling for some "New Mums" "Mums with Bubs" taste testers....lets go Manjimup! Hi Manjimup Mums, Some of you came out to Fresh Produce Alliance back in March with your babies to test some HPP baby foods made out of local fruits and vegetables. We took on board all your comments and advice and were wondering if we had either some of those mums or even some new mums who would like to do a small workshop on the 9th of June. We have one of our produce marketing team coming over from NZ and she would like to talk to you about packaging hierarchy, key messages and review some of our ideas for baby food key messages. We want to show you some sample packaging and talk through what you notice and what info you would like to see on pack. We would appreciate and assistance you can provide and we will of course treat you to an amazing morning tea / lunch and hopefully have a few products for you to try. Also all mums who helps us in the development of our range will of course get a free basket of goodies when we launch our New Brand. For catering purposes can you please let us know if you can come along and share your ideas. We really appreciate your input. Thanks so much ...Jennie :-) Angel Sister's WA
Manjimup Community Resource Centre wish to show our support of this wonderful group of caring crafters! Who create amazing gifts, clothing and linen for families who have lost a child...please take a look, if anyone is interested in becoming involved I would love to hear from you. I am proud to be donating my wedding gown, still wrapped in blue tissue from 18 years ago, why? because i have been one of these parents, who held their deceased daughter devastated with grief. I remember kind and caring people at King Edward hospital who supported me with love and appreciation, and now many years later I am in a position to show my gratitude. Join me, lets see what we can do to support them! Ranui Harris MCRC Manager
In a village of the Po valley where the earth is hard and life miserly, the priest and the communist mayor are always fighting to be the head of the community. If in secret, they admired and liked each other, politics still divided them as it is dividing the country. Division exist between the richest and the poorest, the pious and the atheists and even between lovers. But if the people are as hard as the country, they are good in the bottom of their heart.

This weekend I ran a Preserving Workshop for Stellar Violets, with major support from Manjimup Community Garden and Manjimup Community Resource Centre Inc! So much fun. What's your favourite pickle? Today is a day of reflection for us all at MCRC, as we support our staff member Kayla Williams in remembering her beautiful sister, tragically lost in 2010.
13/05/2010 changed the lives of many in the Manjimup community, a day which resulted in two beautiful young women being sent to heaven and injuries and trauma for the other passengers in a road accident. RIP Bek, today the sun shines brightly from heaven. Kayla and family, we send our love and respect. Ranui Harris, staff and Board of Management. Project Officer - Debbie Vanderspil
